Halloween is going to look very different this year due to COVID-19. Some states are cancelling Halloween all together which has caused a lot of concern for Montgomery County residents.
Macaroni Kid BCCP is committed to providing a reliable resource for family fun events in the area by joining forces with some amazing Sponsors to bring the family fun this Halloween!
Introducing Boo it Forward!
We will be BOO'ing 100 families living in Bethesda, Chevy Chase and Potomac from October 13-18. This is entirely FREE! We will come to your house, drop off a basket of Halloween goodies and leave instructions that YOU'VE BEEN BOO'ED and how to keep the fun going! It is then up to you to BOO TWO (2) more Families with buckets of goodies and the instructions. We will also have an option available for families with food allergies to receive a non-food treat bucket.
The idea is to keep the fun going until Halloween night!
| HOW DO YOU BOO SOMEONE? |
1. Fill a Halloween bucket full of goodies (candy, glow sticks, stickers, decals, straws, bubbles, etc.)
2. Make 2 Copies of the YOU'VE BEEN BOO'ED sign and 2 Copies of the WE'VE BEEN BOO'ED sign and place them in the baskets
3. Leave your basket on a doorstep of a friend, family member, neighbor, etc.. Ring the doorbell and run!
The recipient opens the door to see they have been BOO'd! Kids love being surprised by the bucket of goodies and the instructions explaining to them that they need to make a bucket and BOO 2 more people! In my experience, BOO'ing others is more fun than the candy.

1. Fill out the Form HERE
2. You must living in Bethesda, Chevy Chase or Potomac to be Boo'ed by Macaroni Kid BCCP. Live in Rockville or Gaithersburg? Sign up HERE to get BOO'ED by Macaroni Kid Rockville-Gaithersburg. Live somewhere else? Please also check HERE to see if there is a local Macaroni Kid Publisher in your area who is also BOO'ing families. If not, start your own Macaroni Kid in your area!
3. You should be willing to BOO 1 or 2 more families. Keep the chain reaction going. This is meant to be fun for the kids during Halloween and a 'pay it forward' chain.
4. You MUST supply your address in the form - we cannot BOO your house unless an address is provided. Don't worry, this information is not shared with ANYONE. I am the only person who has access to the sign up forms.
6. Shop and Visit some of our AMAZING Sponsors! Without them, this would not be possible!
7. BOO Baskets will be delivered between October 13-18
